Manufacturing process of Stainless Steel Wool

Wire Drawing and Preparation
The process begins with high-quality stainless steel wire. This wire is drawn through a series of dies to reduce its diameter and prepare it for the next stage. Shaving and Creation of Fibers

The grade of the resulting stainless steel wool—from extra fine to coarse—is determined by factors such as the blade’s ridges and the machine’s speed. These filaments, resembling tiny fibers, are then collected.
Final Product Formation
The mass of stainless steel fibers is typically bundled together to form a cohesive, wool-like structure. This “wool” can be used as is or further processed into various products, such as pads, twisted ropes, or needled mats.
