Xinhua News Agency Beijing, November 16 (Reporter Yang Yijun)  Chinese President Xi Jinping held a video meeting with HIS US counterpart Joe Biden on The morning of November 16, 2016.  The two sides had full and in-depth communication and exchanges on strategic, overarching and fundamental issues concerning the development of China-Us relations as well as important issues of common concern.  

The two leaders believe that the meeting was frank, constructive, substantive and fruitful, which is conducive to enhancing mutual understanding, increasing the international community´s positive expectation of China-Us relations and sending a strong signal to the two countries and the world at large.  The two sides agreed to continue to maintain close contact through various means and bring china-U.S. relations back to the right track of sound and steady development for the benefit of the people of the two countries and the rest of the world.
