Foreign trade continued to show a good trend in the slack season
China´s trade in goods totaled 5.44 trillion yuan in the first two months of this year, up 32.2% year on year, according to data released by the General Administration of Customs on Friday.Exports accounted for 3.06 trillion yuan, up 50.1%;Imports were 2.38 trillion yuan, up 14.5%;The trade surplus was 675.86 billion yuan, compared with a deficit of 43.3 billion yuan in the same period last year.
With the accelerating pace of China´s opening up to the outside world, the "circle of friends" of economic and trade cooperation continues to expand, especially the deepening of economic and trade cooperation with the "One Belt And One Road" countries, which has expanded the development space of China´s foreign trade and played an important role in supporting the continuous improvement of China´s foreign trade.In the first two months of this year, China´s imports and exports to ASEAN, the European Union, the United States and Japan were 786.2 billion yuan, 779.04 billion yuan, 716.37 billion yuan and 349.23 billion yuan respectively, up by 32.9%, 39.8%, 69.6% and 27.4%, according to data.During the same period, China´s import and export with countries along the "One Belt And One Road" routes totaled 1.62 trillion yuan, up by 23.9%.
