Premier Li Keqiang pointed out that the signing of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) not long ago sent a clear signal to the world that it firmly supports multilateralism and free trade, while holding the fifth "1+6" round Table dialogue with heads of major international economic institutions in Beijing on Thursday.
Linked to WTO rules and complementary to other regional FREE trade arrangements, the RCEP is a useful supplement to the multilateral trading system and conducive to economic globalization and trade liberalization. The RCEP is not only about 15 countries, it is also open and inclusive, and more countries are welcome to participate.
China is ready to work with the international community to uphold multilateralism and work with other parties to build an open world economy.
